It happens every year – the weather improves just as the schools go back.
We’ve finally had a week of good weather: temperatures most days this week reached the high 20s (we’re talking Celsius here, you understand – not Fahrenheit. 20°C is 68°F – and 20°F is about -6.7°C. Thanks to Google for helping… Continue reading
It looks like Summer is finally here. The sun has decided to come out at last. Just as the schools break up too – normally its the other way round.
Well… Cirencester College says that term officially finishes this Wednesday.
So the UK snow has now reached Cirencester, with the local weather maps showing snow for much of the day.
For one night only, BBC Points West weather forecaster Ian Fergusson left his weather map behind and went on a journey through the wet, the windy, the sunny, the stormy and the snowiest parts of the West.
We went up to Crowle yesterday (we’re still there) to stay with my Grandmother for the night, and we had a BBQ.
Its been extremely warm in Cirencester over the last couple of days, with temperatures getting into the high 20s (celcius). In London, the forecast was expecting 30°c today!
This was the view outside my bedroom window just after 8 this morning – a street covered by lots of snow which fell overnight, on top of snow which fell yesterday afternoon.
