Boxing Day has arrived – the Turkey has been eaten, and there is still lots of cheese left over. (I’ll have the smoked Applewood please).

I had another week away last week – not as far away as Greece, and not to somewhere as hot as Greece either. I spent a week in North Yorkshire.
We’ve finally had a week of good weather: temperatures most days this week reached the high 20s (we’re talking Celsius here, you understand – not Fahrenheit. 20°C is 68°F – and 20°F is about -6.7°C. Thanks to Google for helping… Continue reading
So the country is now recovering after the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of last weekend.
Christmas 2011 has now finished – New Year coming up next, and then things will (slowly) start getting back to normal.
2010 will be over in about 8 hours time, and 2011 will start.
I’m writing this evening a few hours after returning home from family parties/gatherings for the second time in a week.
