Munich Trip: Sendlinger Tor, Marienplatz and the Englishe Garten
After a month of planning I’ve arrived in the Bavarian capital of Munich. I flew from Heathrow’s new (less than a year old) Terminal 2 first thing this morning.

Apparently Monday – the one just gone – was Blue Monday. The most depressing day of the year. Not for me it wasn’t!
So the country is now recovering after the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of last weekend.

I got back to the UK on Saturday evening, following my week in Cirencester‘s twin town of Itzehoe, in Northern Germany.
The week is now over, and I have done my last day of work experience at Kindergarten Tagelhรถrn. Today, they had their “Faschingsfest” (carneval)… I’m still not sure exactly what it was about.

There has been more snowfall overnight. Its fallen on top of the snow which fell for most of yesterday, which fell on top of snow which fell before I got here.
