Over the weekend I can enjoy not having to do any driving. A well earned rest. I’m in shorts again today as the temperature climbs to 30 degrees. No wind, no clouds. Too hot when it’s like this!
Last weekend I spent some time in Cirencester’s German twin town of Itzehoe, which is located in the country’s northern most Bundesland (Federal State): Schleswig-Holstein.
I got back to the UK on Saturday evening, following my week in Cirencester‘s twin town of Itzehoe, in Northern Germany.
The week is now over, and I have done my last day of work experience at Kindergarten Tagelhörn. Today, they had their “Faschingsfest” (carneval)… I’m still not sure exactly what it was about.
After the 4th day of work experience at Kindergarten Tegelhörn, I returned back to the house. The Sophie-Scholl Gymnasium was closed, and by the fact that both Matt and Tom were signed in to their Facebook accounts when I logged… Continue reading
There has been more snowfall overnight. Its fallen on top of the snow which fell for most of yesterday, which fell on top of snow which fell before I got here.
I woke up this morning to find it was snowing. Apparently that’s normal for Itzehoe at this time of year. It was also very cold – apparently down to -10 last night!
Today was the first day of work experience – and this week I am working at the Kindergarten Tegelhörn.
I write today using a German computer, trying to find my way round the German keyboard layout! I’m getting the hang of it, now that I’ve found the @ key… on the shortcut AltGr+Q.
