Apparently Monday – the one just gone – was Blue Monday. The most depressing day of the year. Not for me it wasn’t!
Pay day is just around the corner (in fact I can already see my January pay packet showing in ‘pending transactions’ on my Internet banking screen).
This month’s pay packet will be spent on a trip to Germany in late February. I’m planning a weekend in Munich – flying out on a Friday morning, flying back on a Monday afternoon.
I’m still playing with hotels and flights to get the best prices but within the next week it will all be booked and I’ll put together my itinerary – which will probably include a trip to the Dachau Concentration Camp, a walk around Marienplatz and the Viktualienmarkt. I hear that Olympiapark München is a good place to go to as well.
Why take a winter trip when the weather will be cold and not very nice?
Well… why not!?!
There are plenty of interesting places to go to which don’t need hot, sunny weather.
No doubt when I go there will be photos uploaded to this blog…
