Day 3 – More Work Experience and a Bit of Bowling
I woke up this morning to find it was snowing. Apparently that’s normal for Itzehoe at this time of year. It was also very cold – apparently down to -10 last night!

Today was the first day of work experience – and this week I am working at the Kindergarten Tegelhörn.
I write today using a German computer, trying to find my way round the German keyboard layout! I’m getting the hang of it, now that I’ve found the @ key… on the shortcut AltGr+Q.
I write shortly after sending in my programme proposal form for the next Corinium Radio broadcast.
Next weekend I will be returing to Cirencester‘s twin town, Itzehoe, in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein.
About 6 months ago, Ben Bradshaw (MP for Exeter, and Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport) announced that the government intends to upgrade all national radio stations from analogue to digital by 2015.

This was the view outside my bedroom window just after 8 this morning – a street covered by lots of snow which fell overnight, on top of snow which fell yesterday afternoon.
