Yesterday was my last day in Cornwall and the day for returning back home to Cirencester. As forecast the weather improved and was dry all day – A lovely day of Sunshine – and I decided not to walk, but instead went to the beach. Continue reading
Yesterday I drove up to the Roseland Peninsula. Although just a mile from Falmouth, because of the river mouth it is 30 miles by road. Unfortunately the public transport links don’t quite link up with where I need them to in this part of Cornwall, compared to down on the Lizard or further towards Land’s End – more careful planning of walks needed in future. Wednesday’s coast path walk was Helford Passage to Falmouth. Reaching Falmouth feels like quite a milestone as really it is the first large town along the path since Penzance – and Penzance was where I was walking in February 2022. Continue reading
