Saturday was a lovely Sunny day which, after sitting outside for breakfast, started with a tour of West Horsley Place – the old country house where the BBC comedy series Ghosts was filmed. This was followed by lunch with my cousin Tom at Polesden Lacey, a National Trust property – before a walk in the hills near the cabin and dinner at the local pub. Continue reading

Another weekend and another day trip. It seems to be that days where I drive a couple of hundred miles in a single day are the norm now. Next weekend, when I am due to drive to visit my cousin in Frankfurt in Germany, will be the first time since March that I drive somewhere and stay overnight away from home! Continue reading

I have just been reading some of the radio industry news on radiotoday.co.uk, and have found it interesting that from March 30th, BBC Southern Counties Radio will be split in to two: creating BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey.
