Saturday was a lovely Sunny day which, after sitting outside for breakfast, started with a tour of West Horsley Place – the old country house where the BBC comedy series Ghosts was filmed. This was followed by lunch with my cousin Tom at Polesden Lacey, a National Trust property – before a walk in the hills near the cabin and dinner at the local pub. Continue reading

A Day In Ireland In the Sun

For my first Extreme Day Trip I kept it fairly local (not venturing too far); I opted for Ireland as my first trip, and on Thursday morning I left home at 05:00 to drive up to Birmingham Airport. My destination was Dublin, flying on the 08:10 Aer Lingus departure to Dublin. Continue reading
