There 2025 Elgar Festival is taking place in Worester this week. On Wednesday night I went to the ‘Elgar for Everyone’ concert at Worcester Cathedral.
The show featured Classic FM presenter Zeb Soanes narrating the story of ‘Paddington Bear’s First Concert’ – plus the English Symphony – Intermediate and Beginners Orchestras playing other well known pieces such as The Bare Necessities (Jungle Book), Teddybear’s Picnic, Kung Fu Panda, Fantastic Beasts (Harry Potter!) and – from Elgar’s The Wand of Youth, The Tame Bears and The Wild Bears.
