The Corinium Radio broadcast is now exactly 1 month away… and since this year I have no school/exams either side of the broadcast I will be able to focus on preparing a really good edition of ‘Music from the Decades‘!

You may remember I wrote a post last week about rumoured changes for BBC Radio 2, and now I have received more information which answers some of my questions.
The latest radio meeting to be held on programming in my view went very well. My ‘Music from the Decades‘ programme has now been sponsored (ยฃ20 by me, ยฃ20 by Luke) leaving only my new ‘Friday Lunch’ with no sponsor.

A very good meeting for Corinium Radio on Tuesday night. We all got to have a look at the provisional schedule for our July broadcast so far. My next programme, Music from the Decades, returns for the 5th time.
As many regular blog readers know, I am really keen on the idea of community radio and highly against pirate radio, so the recent report on the BBC website about the pirates’ views was very interesting reading for me.
I have just been reading some of the radio industry news on radiotoday.co.uk, and have found it interesting that from March 30th, BBC Southern Counties Radio will be split in to two: creating BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey.
