Crete 2010: Georgioupolis and Lake Kournas

On Saturday (7 August), we drove East to a town on the other side of Chania. Lake Kournas (Λίμνι Κουρνά) is Crete’s only freshwater lake, and isn’t very far from the border with the county of Rethymno (Νόμος Ρεθύμνου).

I’m a Stock Controller by day; Out of my day job I’m a radio producer/presenter by night and the technical expert at Corinium Radio.

I spend my weekends driving abroad. I’m interested in politics, news & current affairs, baking, and my two cats.

I read, write, and speak Greek and German. University of Gloucestershire Radio Production graduate. Based in Cirencester but often found on the road both in the UK and abroad.

I blog about my travels, home baking, things I get up to at the weekend and politics.

I’m autistic, I have depression and anxiety, and travelling and presenting my radio show are often what keep me going.
