Well β thatβs it β our 2026 holidays to Greece are over! It has been a very enjoyable 2 weeks. Plenty of time at the swimming pool, and on the beaches of Northern Greece. But all good things come to an end and today we have returned home. Continue reading
Back in the car, it took us a total of 3 hours to drive back to Thess (including stopping time). A swim was needed after that. Part of the poolside bar complex was closed for the setup of a βprivate functionβ. We could still swim β just had to swim at one end. We could still eat in the evening -just at one end. Which we did. So we moved on and went back to Potos Beach. Or rather, the end which is actually known as San Antonio Beach. Weβve not spent nearly as much time there as we should have done β it is a nice beach, soft sand, nice and shallow, easy to get in and out β and crucially plenty of space! Continue reading

At 2pm we decided to go out for the afternoon; We got in the car and headed for ΞΟ ΞΌΟΞ½ΞΉΞ¬ (Thymonia), a beach about 20 minutes drive away (just before Aliki, a well known beach on the island β but Thymonia is not as busy). Continue reading
