After a morning out cycling (I cycled to Kemble and back this morning) I made Macaroni Cheese today.
For many years macaroni cheese has been my signature dish – it is one of the first things I learnt to cook, all the way back in Year 7 at secondary school. I never tire of making it! It is very filling and is great with a slice of bread.
It is a good thing I grate loads of extra cheese for the sauce, because while I’m standing by the hob stirring the sauce as it thickens, I’m constantly nibbling away at the grated cheese.
I’ve got the week off work this week, so will probably do some more baking & cooking during the week – when I’m not cycling of course.
