After not being well enough to present live last week, this week’s show was my first live show of the new year. It went really well, with a busy ShoutBox and good comments coming in from the listeners.
Today’s show, due to the fact that I have been ill recently (slowly getting better but still got a very sore throat) was a repeat of the Country music special, first broadcast on 1Radio in July 2012.

Today was my 100th show for 1Radio! Its taken me a while to get to this point – just under 2 years. But I’ve done it!
I was back on 1Radio today for another 2 hour edition of Music from the Decades.
On today’s programme: Reflecting on my week in Greece; If I save up enough money, could I buy a big expensive boat; A look at the UK’s weather forecast; and the usual mix of music and chat.
Tomorrow we’re off on holiday – to Sivota. Tonight on 1Radio, I did a Greek themed edition of Music from the Decades.
The first of this week’s 2 shows seems to have gone quite well. Lots of music, including songs by Sammy Davies Jr, the Boston Pops Orchestra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin.
