Angoulins to Réjaumont
Another hot and sunny day but I could relax more, and was well rested after a good night sleep – no overnight ferries for a while!
After breakfast this morning I went for a morning swim which was lovely – especially as I had the pool to myself! I stayed at the pool for an hour then read my book on the beach for an hour. I set off from Angoulins just after 12.
I had a clear run all the way to the Gers, arriving just after 5. My route in to the village from the motorway took me through a town called (don’t laugh): Condom. I was driving safe ……….
I did have to stop and take a picture of the sign. I am sure all the visiting Brits do that, they’re probably used to it.
I am the only guest in the B&B tonight. I had a rest after the driving then drove in to town for some dinner.
Heading in to Spain tomorrow so at some point the language will change as I enter a country I’ve never been to before, for the first time.
