Weekend In London

I had a last minute trip to London for a few days at the end of last week, having been invited to a job interview in the Houses of Parliament.

Job Interview

Apart from radio, I am quite interested in politics, so have been looking at a few job opportunities in that field as well as jobs in radio. The interview I went to on Thursday was for a Parliamentary Apprentice role. I didn’t get the job unfortunately – but just getting the interview in the first place is a start.

I then stayed up in London for a couple of nights – going from Parliament to my grandparents’ house in Welling, and then on to stay for the night at my Aunt’s house in Blackheath. We had a mushroom rizotto for dinner, which I enjoyed.

The following morning – Friday – I went back in to the city to do a little more job hunting – then I walked around Buckingham Palace and Whitehall, and went back to my grandparents’ house via the Imperial War Museum.

Dad travelled down on Friday, and we both stayed in Welling on Friday night, before returning to Gloucestershire on Saturday.

And so the job search continues…

What shall I apply for next?
