Fred Hart On Tone Radio – Thursday 2 February 2012

My show went well tonight… I was so busy enjoying the music and talking that I may have left a couple of bits out! That doesn’t matter though, I will carry them through to next week’s show.

No fewer than two people contacted me whilst I was on air – @AlexHunt1 tweeted me to say that his bed time is at 9pm and would therefore have to miss the final hour of my show. No problem – listen again below!

Another old school friend, Adam, sent me an e-mail through the Tone website as well – my endless tweets about my show seemed to have got the message across (that’s the point, really). He said -and I quote-: ‘It’s actually pretty good… a step up from Corinium Radio‘!

By the way… I still do lots of stuff for Corinium Radio. I’ve got a Technical Committee meeting tomorrow afternoon. Perhaps over the weekend I should blog about all the things that have been going on there recently.

During tonight’s show we learned about…

  • The cold weather we currently have in the UK – I suggested that it would be warmer if I was to open the freezer door for half an hour.
  • The Greek man who was the only person in a Spanish village who failed to by a share in the lottery ticket which won €700 million.
  • The German resident who ate some American lard 64 years after he was given it.
  • Tone Radio’s new show #TheMorningAfter. ‘Forget About The Night Before’…doesn’t that mean me? 😐
  • Top Gear will be in China this week. So that’s a Chinese complaint to the BBC this week then!?? 😛
