Last Monday I took and passed my driving test for the first time.
I’ve been having weekly lessons with Mike of Phoenix Driving for a number of months now which I’ve enjoyed.
The test itself was actually quite easy – a bit of driving around Cheltenham, a hill start, and try not to crash in to any other drivers.
Of course this does mean that now I’ve got to somehow get insured. I don’t have any money to do that with, so it looks like I won’t be driving for a while.
My grandmother once said to me that ‘people who pass first time are not as intelligent than those who don’t’. I wonder if she still believes that!?? 😛
I’ve also now booked my Pass Plus as well, so that should give me some practice at things like motorway driving which as a learner I’ve never been able to do.
I’m off home for the weekend now – don’t forget to tune in to my show on Tone Radio every Thursday night at 8.
Well done Fred !
YAY! Go Fred!
