Back in the car, it took us a total of 3 hours to drive back to Thess (including stopping time). A swim was needed after that. Part of the poolside bar complex was closed for the setup of a โprivate functionโ. We could still swim โ just had to swim at one end. We could still eat in the evening -just at one end. Which we did. So we moved on and went back to Potos Beach. Or rather, the end which is actually known as San Antonio Beach. Weโve not spent nearly as much time there as we should have done โ it is a nice beach, soft sand, nice and shallow, easy to get in and out โ and crucially plenty of space! Continue reading

At 2pm we decided to go out for the afternoon; We got in the car and headed for ฮฯ ฮผฯฮฝฮนฮฌ (Thymonia), a beach about 20 minutes drive away (just before Aliki, a well known beach on the island โ but Thymonia is not as busy). Continue reading

Today has been a long day on the road โ my carโs GPS records show it was 9hrs 31mins of driving time, plus stops with added 1hr 50min to that. Iโve covered nearly 500 miles in a single day!
Today Iโve done my own self-guided tour of Thassos and have driven a whole lap of the island.
