Classic & Vintage Cars: Haynes Motor Museum

After my visit to Glenda Spooner Farm on Wednesday, I found that just 10 minutes drive away was the Haynes Motor Museum. With over 300 vehicles at the museum, it is the UK’s largest collection of cars and motorcycles.

I took far too many photos of many classic and vintage cars – deciding which ones I’d like to drive (most of them, to be honest)….and which ones I could afford (not many of them). I’ve put some of my favourites below.

I think I’d particularly love a Triumph Stag, or maybe an MGB Roadster.

The Mk1 VW Golf GTI was on display there too – the memories of my first car came flooding back. I had a Mk2 VW Golf (Mine was the “Driver” edition which means it was styled to look like a GTI); I had a standard Mk5 VW Golf after that, and currently I have a Mk7 VW Golf SV GT spec (but not the GT name badge).
