Milford Haven and West Angle Bay

This weekend is our last weekend away as a family of four before Corrie goes off to New Zealand. We’ve decided to go away to Wales for the weekend and are staying in Burton near Pembroke Dock.

This morning we drove in to Milford Haven which has a nice water front. Overlooking the Cleddau estuary, there are loads of yachts moored in the town which meant we wandered around deciding which one we would have if we could own a boat (Love playing that game!)

After a short walk and a stop for an ice cream we got back in the car – quick dash around Tesco to get some supplies for the weekend (doing a BBQ tonight); then we got back in the car.

In the afternoon we went to West Angle Bay and set up our chairs and rugs in amongst the rocks, sheltered from the wind slightly. A chance to have a picnic lunch, sit and read, a short walk along the coastal path, and enjoy watching people playing with their dogs on the beach.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t in our favour and it did start to rain: We headed indoors for a hot chocolate and slice of cake before making our way back to the apartment.

BBQ night tonight…Looking forward to that!
