Four Waterfalls Walk in the Brecon Beacons

Yesterday I drove with Mum and Corrie to Wales where we did the Four Waterfalls Walk in the Brecon Beacons.

A fair distance from home, it was a 2hr drive in each direction; about 100 miles along the A40 and A465; it is about 10 miles from Merthyr Tydfil.

The walk itself took a good couple of hours and afterwards we went in to the local village – Ystradfellte in Powys. where we had lunch at the New Inn pub in the village. We sat outside in their new ‘Village Green‘ outdoor space; I had their chips with boozy beef and cheese, which was very tasty (good meat).

I’ve decided I like Wales because they don’t make you wear masks. I’m really not keen at all on masks – my view is they just spread fear more than anything else.

Some photos from our walk are below.
