Tone Radio, the student radio station at the University of Gloucestershire, will be back on air from Monday 8. October 2012.
I paid my membership fee this morning, so I can now announce that I will be back for my second year at the station.
My show will be on air every Tuesday from 16:00-18:00 (4pm to 6pm).
This year’s show will be very similar to the one I did last year: during each show I play a mix of my favourite music – pop music, jazz music, rock, folk, blues, music from Greece, music from Germany, classical music… whatever I feel like playing in fact!
There’ll also be a news bulletin each week at around 5pm, the weather forecast, the ‘radio highlights’ – what to listen to on the radio over the following 7 days – plus my take on the week’s events.
On my first show, I’ll be playing music from Bobby Darin, The Verve, Ray Charles, Manfred Mann and Charlie Landsborough (amongst others of course).
Tuesday afternoon – 4pm to 6pm on Tone Radio.
If you want to tune in, go to the Tone Radio website at toneradiolive.co.uk.
And if you want to contact the programme whilst I’m on air – e-mail studio@toneradiolive.co.uk, or send a text to 60300 (starting your message with the word TONE.
Have a good weekend – I’ll speak to you on the radio next Tuesday!
