The Early Breakfast Show: Sunday 4 July 2010

In July 2009, a group of people known as the Open the Book Team joined our presenter Linda Dyson in the studio for our programme, the Open Door. The group performed a story live in the studio, and I played a clip of this on the show.

Every broadcast, another of Linda’s programmes is called Write Out Loud. The programme features the results of our bi-annual writing competitions as well as local creative writing news. On today’s show, I played a clip from the June 2008 edition of the show.

Cotswold District Council‘s Health Development Officer. Jeanette Hughes, produced a programme called ‘What If?’, detailing how the council would cope with a crisis, should one ever arise in the region. I played a clip from the programme, which was originally broadcast in July 2009.

In June 2008, the Stratton Drama Group performed a live radio play in our studio. I played part of the broadcast – a short 10 minute play, written and performed by group member Rob Grace.
