Corinium Radio July 2011 Broadcast

Arrangement’s for Corinium Radio‘s Summer 2011 broadcast are going well.

The licenses have been applied for, and last night the schedule was published on our website.

I have started producing some programmes already. A couple of weeks ago, Geoff Carr and I met up and we put together ‘A Preview of the Cotswold Show’, using highlights from last year’s broadcast.

I have also started putting together our overnight programme, Corinium Radio Reloaded. This programme will feature repeats of programmes from previous Corinium Radio broadcasts, including ‘live’ radio plays by Stratton Drama Group, the Classical Hour with Liz, a documentary about reptiles with Jon B, and an acoustic session recorded at the Siddington Folk Club in 2009.

My other programmes – the Early Breakfast Show and Music from the Decades – are music shows; Music from the Decades will be live on Friday 1. July from 21:00 until 23:00. The Early Breakfast Show will be pre-recorded, and I’ll probably put them together at some point over the next few weeks. My aim is to have all the overnight shows ready by June 15.

Still lots to do though, so I’d best get going. I think I’ve still got some work for college to do, and a couple of exams to revise for… :/
