Tonight I should have been at the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, enjoying the second of 3 evenings of live country music. Unfortunately, I’m not – The Country to Country festival was postponed on Thursday night…but not until after I’d already arrived at my hotel room in Blackheath, a short bus ride from the venue.
So instead I’ve made alternative plans and have been playing the role of the ‘tourist’ while I’ve been in London (might as well make the most of the room I’ve got).
Today I drove out of London to visit Hever Castle and Gardens – a 1 hour 15min drive away, in Kent. Here ae some photos of my day out:
I went to Pizza Express in Blackheath for dinner tonight, and now I’m sitting in my hotel room with the radio on, Radio 2 playing many of the artists who I should have been seeing live this weekend.
Getting a bit tired now (it’s been a long day) so I’m off to bed shortly.
