Two shows down then, and we’re roughly half way through October.
On my show this week then…
- The Cheltenham Literature Festival – I told you about the 5 different events I went to over the last week.
- Hand Washing – Apparently the British aren’t good at washing their hands. I learned that experts say it takes roughly the length of singing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice to wash your hands correctly. If you hear me singing that to myself over the next few days, I’m just washing my hands correctly.
- The Weather – I told you what the weathermen say the weather will do over the next few days. Will they be correct?
- Radio Highlights – Including a documentary about the Greek Civil War on the BBC World Service.
Plus, I played lots of music. There was a strange European feel today, as I played not just Greek music, but also some German, Swedish and Italian stuff. I particularly enjoyed playing the Swedish version of ABBA’s Waterloo.
