16 January 2011 – 09:00 to 11:00 on 1Radio

I’ve done two hour shows for years over on Corinium Radio, but since joining 1Radio in

October, I stuck to 1 hour slots until I was confident that my equipment could cope with a 2 hour slot.

The reason: should anything have gone wrong in the early days, I wouldn’t loose 2 show credits for not broadcasting.

So today, nearly 3 months after signing up and presenting my first programme on an Internet radio station, I hosted a 2 hour Breakfast Show.

Adam was in the ShoutBox today – he’s the one who I co-presented with when I did my first ever radio show in May 2006. He set me a challenge – to get the phrase “green custard” into a link. So I did: “I’ve just looked in the fridge downstairs, and there’s a pot of Green custard in there. I wonder what it tastes like”! A complete lie, of course. He also requested a track, which I will be playing next week.

I will be back on Monday 24th January 2011 from 15:00 GMT/16:00 MEZ/17:00 ???.
