My programme, Music from the Decades, to be broadcast during next month’s Corinium Radio broadcast has now been recorded and edited.
So, during the programme Luke and I will be playing music from the 1950s to today. We’ve both chosen tracks from our own unique record collections.
Music will include The Rolling Stones, Boston, Paul McCartney, the Stereophonics, Chicane, The Killers, Mark Knopfler and Madness. In addition, there’ll also be more music from my collection of Greek music – in particular you’ll hear Σωκράτης Μάλαμας and Γιάννης Πλουχάρτος.
We’ll also be taking a look back over Corinium Radio’s past – I’ll be talking to four key members of the committee, and I’ll be asking them about how they got involved, what they do for the radio station now, before asking them about what happens next.
I’ll post the full ‘Behind the Scenes’ recording along with a track list after the broadcast, but for now, here’s an exclusive clip showing what you should expect to hear during the broadcast. Its quite likely some of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ stuff could end up as an article on our website.
The full programme will be on air from 9pm until 11pm on Saturday 3 July 2010.
