I’ve just been looking on the BBC News website and found some very interesting news. The BBC has learnt that the number of fake £ coins in circulation may be as high as 1 in 20.
The figure is twice the official estimates. Ben Ando reports.
So… how do you spot a fake £ coin? I found another video relating to this. Unfortunatley I can’t embed it, so you’ll have to go to the BBC website to view it. The address is news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7989119.stm.
The news that there are fake £ coins in circulation at all brings one question to my mind: how did they get there? If you have any ideas then leave your comments below, or e-mail me.
