Arriving in Germany did rather feel like arriving back at home. Suddenly weβve travelled from a country where I donβt understand the language at all, to a country whose radio stations I can listen to and understand.

My day trip for today was to the nearby city of Rostock β the biggest city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, located at the mouth of the Warnow river.
