Whilst there are certainly touristy places on Corfu you’d want to avoid (…Kavos/Ξάβου), the island has not been spoiled by tourism. You just have to know where to go.

Inland from St. George South is the village of Argyrades (ΞΟΞ³Ο ΟάδΡΟ). Whilst St. George is mainly tourists, Argyrades is more Greek.
