At the end of a 17km long beach, Renesse is a tourist town, very popular with the Germans.
Drove out along the top of the delta works to Neeltje Jans. I just stopped to walk and take photos but there is a kids theme park there too.
I drove in to the island’s main town this morning. Zierikzee, with a population of just over 10,000, isn’t particularly big and is the location of the nearest supermarket to where I am staying this weekend.
The actual journey was 9 hours (about 5 hours of actual driving time). I’ve condensed that in to one much shorter video – so you can get a taste of the route I took.
Earlier I decided I should probably go to the supermarket to find some dinner, so I got in the car just as it was getting dark and set off on the 5km route to Zierikzee.
