Summer and Greece

Tuesday 19 February 2013, 16:00 to 18:00 on Tone Radio.

It may be the middle of February, but we are heading towards Summer, so the theme on this week’s show is Summer and Greece. For two hours, Fred will be mixing Summer tunes with traditional Greek music.

This week’s show was a little different, in that instead of doing my themed hour between 16:30 and 17:30, I spread it out across the whole 2 hour show.

I was mixing Greek music with songs about the Summer (Clear Blue Sky by George Strait and Sailing by Rod Stewart being two excellent examples.

I love Greek music because it always makes me think of being on holiday in Greece. So I hope that after listening to this week’s show you’ll think of your holidays too!

Back to the normal format next week, and I’ll be playing an hour of folk music during the themed hour.
