Light
Tuesday 30 April 2013, 16:00 to 18:00
Join Fred Hart for the final show of the month. Two hours of music, chat, and Fred’s take on the week’s events. After 16:30, this week’s theme is light.
Where have the first four months in 2013 gone? Tomorrow is May 1! We’re already a third of the way through the year.
I put together the playlist for today’s show only this morning – and finished putting the playlist in to the studio computer just minutes before the news at 4 finished. Last minute!
I was though quite pleased with this week’s playlist, which had a bit of a folk/country feel to it – I was in the mood for that sort of style after listening to Bob Harris Country on the bus home last night! So I decided to go on iTunes to download some tracks by the artists Last FM has been recommending me for weeks, and then play the tracks in tonight’s show.
Also this week… my theme during the middle hour was Light. ‘Blinded By the Light’ got in. As did ‘Moonlight Shadow’, ‘Shine On Harvest Moon’ and ‘Dancing In the Moonlight’.
No show next week – I might get Johnny or Jelmer to do it instead – so I’ll be back in 2 weeks with Transport as my theme.
Bye for now.
