This week was my first show back after Easter – and what a great show it was!

Having been off the air for 3 weeks I was keen to get back on air and couldn’t wait to play my themed hour today – an hour of jazz music.

The hour featured music from artists appearing at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival in a few weeks time alongside new material from my cousin’s band, The Session, and well-established jazz artists such as Frank Sinatra, Oscar Peterson and John Coltrane.

As always, the first and last half hours are more mainstream and I had new tracks from Jon Byrne and Apples & Eve, as well as Gloucestershire’s Ethemia and my favorite country artist, Tim McGraw.

Next week on the show I’ll be playing you an hour of songs about time. If you have any suggestions, e-mail them to radio@fred-hart.co.uk.

See you next week!

FH.
