One of the more interesting drives of my weekend in Cyprus, was the route from Kyrenia (Girne) to Polis.

The peculiar thing about my sat nav is that it is not possible to set a route from the Republic to a destination in the North – and vice versa. So, on leaving Kyrenia I had to drive back to Nicosia and cross back in to the Greek side.

The sat nav is, however, quite happy to route me through the North when giving me a route from one destination on the Greek side to another (using some rather questionable roads… but not knowing Northern Cyprus at all, I just followed it anyway)!
