BBC Radio 2 Jingles: Reimagined for Fred

It started as a bit of a laugh.

I took a well-known breakfast show jingle, swapped the name for “The Fred Hart Breakfast Show”, and just wanted to see what would happen… and somehow it sounded very convincing.

Which, naturally, led to the next question.

What would those big, polished, professionally produced radio jingles sound like if they were written for my show? Not a straight lift, not a clone – just a playful reimagining. Same kind of feel, same attention to detail… but very much done my way.

So that’s what this is.

A collection of slightly tongue-in-cheek, studio experiments – inspired by a familiar sound, but not taking themselves too seriously. More of a creative “what if?” than anything else… and a good excuse to see how close you can get, just for the fun of it.

I also made my own BBC Radio 2 jingles, which you can hear over here
