Fred Hart

I’m Fred Hart, from Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

I’m a Stock Controller by day; Out of my day job I’m a radio producer/presenter by night and the technical expert at Corinium Radio.

I spend my weekends driving abroad, taking my car from Dover to Calais and on to interesting destinations on the continent. I’m interested in politics (Conservative Party member), news & current affairs, baking, and my two cats.

I read, write, and speak Greek, Dutch and German. I’m a University of Gloucestershire Radio Production graduate.

I live in Cirencester, work in Fairford, and spend a lot of time in London (when we’re not in lockdown!); I am often found on the road both in the UK and abroad – my favourite countries are Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Cyprus.

My preferred mode of transport is in my own car – even in London I prefer to drive right in to the centre instead of taking the tube. (I tend to park in the underground car parks either at Oxford Circus or at Marble Arch). I also drive fairly regularly in Hamburg, Cologne, Athens and Antwerp. If you can drive in Athens, you can drive anywhere!!

I blog about my travels, home baking, things I get up to at the weekend and politics.

I’m autistic, I have depression and anxiety, and travelling and presenting my radio show are often what keep me going.
