Today was overcast and wet when I left the island but thankfully it had stopped raining by the time I arrived at the beach.<\/p>\n<p>It certainly wasn&#8217;t the day for dipping a toe in the water &#8211; but I can at least day that I&#8217;ve seen the sea.<\/p>\n<p>I had a walk along the beach, and then returned to the car. It is low season and Cadzand being small, most places were shut. But no time to rest: Train back to Folkestone to catch later!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m heading off towards Bruges and then on to Ypres next.
