At the end of a 17km long beach, Renesse is a tourist town, very popular with the Germans.
At this time of year, parking in the car parks and in the town centre is free. I parked just outside the village, near the beach, and went for a walk along the beach.
As threatening-looking black clouds came overhead and it started to rain, I walked in to the centre of the village. It then stopped raining.
Found somewhere for lunch – the butcher was doing takeaway hot food to I had a piri-piri broodje (bread roll filled with piri piri chicken) – quite tasty!
