Today I departed from Noordgouwe shortly after breakfast, and drove to the seaside village of Cadzand.
Cadzand is located right on the border with Belgium. Today was overcast and wet when I left the island but thankfully it had stopped raining by the time I arrived at the beach.
It certainly wasn’t the day for dipping a toe in the water – but I can at least day that I’ve seen the sea.
I had a walk along the beach, and then returned to the car. It is low season and Cadzand being small, most places were shut. But no time to rest: Train back to Folkestone to catch later!
I’m heading off towards Bruges and then on to Ypres next. Mean time, here’s the dashcam video for you to enjoy – if that’s your thing.
