As some of my readers will know, I am a collector of radio jingles and am a member of JingleMad.com, the largest international radio jingle collecting community. I found a post on there today which is excellent news for anyone who has ever listened to and enjoyed the Jingle Network podcasts.
JingleMad member David Hemsley (you might need to be logged in) has announced via the website that he has taken back control of his creation again.
The Jingle Network originally launched in 2004 as a monthly audio podcast of jingle news from across the globe. In late 2006, due to personal reasons, David handed production to Paul McGrath of Jingle News.
Paul’s production of the podcast ceased in October 2008 and for that reason, The Jingle Network’s new (temporary?) website will launch later today at thejinglenetwork.info.
In my opinion this is excellent news for the jingle collecting community. I used to listen to the Jingle Network Podcast back when Paul McGrath produced it; and hope it will continue now under David’s control well into the future.
